Licensing of Anna, our new Vicar

The licensing of the Rev Anna Lumb as Incumbent of the Benefice of Honley with Brockholes took place before a large congregation at St Mary's.

The service was led by the Bishop of Huddersfield, the Rt Rev Smitha Prasadam. The Deputy Mayor of Kirklees, Coun Liz Smaje, was among guests at the ceremony on May 18.

Anna, a former teacher, previously served as a curate in the parishes of St Saviour’s Harden and St Matthew’s Wilsden, West Yorkshire.
