Messy Church for the young ones this Easter
Things are getting messy this week for young children in Honley and Brockholes. On Wednesday, April 1, there will be an Easter Messy Church in St George's Church, Brockholes from 2.30pm. The young ones can expect stories, games, crafts, songs, food and fun - as can their parents! The sessions are for accompanied children aged under 11. It all happens again at St Mary's the following day, April 2, when St Mary's Church, Honley hosts a similar event. Don't miss these abosrbing


Our Holy Week and Easter services
For Christians, this is the holiest week of the year – a week that changed the world and can still change us. Here are our Holy Week services. Join us at St Mary's on Maundy Thursday at 7.30pm for our contemplative service, 'Remembering the Last Supper' On Good Friday we will hold a Walk of Witness at 11.45am. Please meet at the corner of Church Street and Eastgate. At noon on that day, there will be a devotional service of Stations of the Cross at St George's, Brockholes. Th


Come and join the Music Makers, our new singing group
We're setting up a new singing group in the parish called the Music Makers. It's for anyone who enjoys singing and it's intended to be fun. You don't have to be an Adele or a Pavarotti, just someone with the willingness to enjoy making music in the company of like-minded people. As music is one of the finest forms of natural therapy, we particularly hope to be joined by those with memory loss and their carers.
