Parish of Honley with Brockholes
Music in the Parish
St Mary’s Church is fortunate to have an enthusiastic choir which sings regularly in services and for special events.
Its members have sung Evensong at St Lucius’ Church, Farnley Tyas, and they performed an anthem at Rev Anna’s licensing service to a packed church.
On the first Sunday of the month, a music group leads our worship with a variety of instruments – violins, piano, guitar and even mouth organ.

We are always keen to welcome new members. Please contact the vicar, Rev Anna, to enquire about getting involved.
St Mary’s has a fine, three manual Peter Conacher organ which was recently restored by Spink Organ Builders of Leeds, following a fundraising campaign. A Conacher organ of equal merit stands in St George's Church, Brockholes, and is in regular use.
